Are you feeling jet-lagged even though you haven’t traveled? The rush of school drop-offs and pick-ups; running the kids to soccer and dance; answering emails and texts; not to mention laundry, dishes, and cleaning the never-ending messes. The list can go on and on! So who is Jet Lagged Mama and what can we do to help you.
I am Ashley and along with my husband we are both working parents to 3 young daughters (yes 3 girls). Travel is deeply rooted in our family and we get the itch to get away far more often than we can afford.
All of these things that we deal with as parents every day are giving us jet lag without ever even switching time zones or leaving our homes.
We have traveled across the world with all of our girls since very young ages. Starting when our first child was just 3 months old. We have spanned countless countries and states together as a family.
Traveling with kids has taught us a lot!
Every time we think we know what we are doing, our kids teach us we were wrong. WE KNOW NOTHING! Each trip we take has a new surprise that we weren’t expecting. But, we have learned A LOT over the years of traveling with our kids. I look at this way “every trip is a chance to learn more about ourselves and our kids.”
We have made a lot of mistakes! Save yourself some of the pain we’ve experienced. Trust me, we have been through some serious drama on trips with our kids.
We want to help you actually enjoy your family vacation! We want to share some great places to take your family and some tips that will make your life as a parent easier.
